Vintage Affair, the annual wine gala and auction benefiting the American Cancer Society, is currently being planned for February 2, 2013 at Wynlakes Golf & Country Club. This year will mark the 20th anniversary of Vintage Affair, an event that has evolved from humble beginnings to become one of Montgomery and the River Region’s most prestigious philanthropic events, thanks to the tireless work of hundreds of volunteers. Vintage Affair is the second largest gala per capita in the United States for the American Cancer Society.
Over the past nineteen years the gala has raised more than $5,000,000, with the 2012 event raising $406,000 for the fight against cancer. The money raised at Vintage Affair is used to fund programs and services offered to cancer patients in the community, as well as towards cancer research and education.
The event will feature a Silent Auction, an exquisite wine tasting from various vineyards, not to mention an elegant seated dinner accompanied by specially selected wines. The highlight of the evening is a Live Auction featuring rare and collectible wines, exotic trips, specialty parties and memorable events.
